It is a privilege to work with the adult and graduate students at Belhaven University. There is no greater joy for me than to journey with each student as they progress through their program of study and to see them walk confidently across the stage to receive their diploma. As an adult learner, I experienced the struggles of balancing family, church, work, and school. At Belhaven, we understand the need for balance, and we support you so you can successfully achieve your goals.
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

I enjoy helping people return to school because earning my master degree was such a big boost to my career. I was working full-time in a job that required travel, raising two teenagers, serving a church part-time and coaching baseball so I was busy. But I don’t regret it for one minute! And if I can do it while being busy, so can you!
Romans 12:1 & 2 - And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

I love our Belhaven Atlanta students and I want you to become one of them! God always has a plan, whether we see it or not. Sometimes the “Knowing IS in the Going.” The first step is the hardest but He is with you. That last step, your degree, is so sweet!
Verse: Isaiah 30: 20-21 - “Yet your Teacher will not hide Himself anymore, but your eyes shall constantly behold your Teacher. And your ears shall hear a word, behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.”

Ephesians 2: 4-10 - “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
